Meeting of General Membership was held and called meeting to order at 1:03pm by Jeremy.

Treasurers Report – Sara Miller reviewed all expenditures for July.
Combined totals: Expended: (-$1466.18); total income (+$144.00)
Current balance of all accounts $41,173.81
Old Business
Club Trailer – Completed. Posted to FB and brought to the meeting for viewing.
Iron Hill Powersports Ride – The club assisted on route planning. IH plans on possibly music, prizes, etc… Check out the post on FB.
Beardmore Ride– Dates corrected from original agenda mailing. 2-days. Must pre-register with Dennis Blocker, (see FB & our website) max of 25-30 rigs per day. New trails may get muddy so will adjust as needed. This is for Club Members Only. Contact Dennis and Marlene Blocker to secure a spot on either day. Email denmar941@msn.com or call 563-568-7459.
New Business
Memorial for Julie Herman: Our devoted member, Julie Herman, passed on 18 June 2023. She was an amazing volunteer that always had a voice in the club and community.
Adopt a Highway. Discussing with the DOT. Currently sections are available on Hwy 76 or Hwy 9 that range between 2 – 2.7 miles. Requirements: Must clean up the stretch 2x/year. Prior notification to the DOT required. They will provide bags and pick-up. 2-year club commitment. DOT will put the memorial signage on the route. No financial cost to the club- only time.
Memorial Ride. Open for further discussion on a Memorial ride in 2024.
Lansing Fire Dept Ride Volunteers Needed*: Krystal Cahalan is in continued conversation with Lansing Fire. A LFD and Club Hat for sale has been ordered to sell, with the profits donated to the LFD. The club will be there for registration help; however, the following volunteers are needed from the club for the event:
o Ride- as many willing to assist. This is to keep everyone moving and be a liaison in the lineup. There will be a pre-ride on Labor Day weekend only for volunteers.
o Concert: Asking for (6) volunteers to help with concessions.
Waterville Fire Dept Volunteers Needed*: We will be donating merchandise to their Chinese Raffle. This is being off-set by a Club Member’s generosity to cover the cost of the donation. Hats will also be offered for this ride as well.
o Ride- as many willing to assist. This is to keep everyone moving and be a liaison in the lineup. There will be a pre-ride prior for volunteers. If interested- Let Krystal know to coordinate dates.

Consideration on who to send minutes/agenda. Discussion on how to clean-up our email distribution list. Approx. 180 emails over our current membership numbers. Discussion was to give out warnings of final notification due to lapse of membership and then delete. Final left to the President to execute.

It is time for a change of hands. We are looking for a few members to take over:
o Map updates and distribution
o Website Update
Don & Linda Herman have worked diligently to have both programs to run smoothly, they just need someone to maintain. If interested, please reach out to any of the leadership.
Signage removal in Waukon. With the update outlined last month in Waukon, the city has asked if the club will remove all outdated signage/stickers in Waukon. Jeremy is asking for a few volunteers to meet-up on a date that works best for them to get these removed.
