A meeting of the General Membership was held and the meeting was called to order at

1:11 pm by Chad.

 

Secretary’s Report –  It was agreed upon by the membership to forgo the reading of the November 2025 meeting minutes and let stand as sent out via email.

Treasurer’s Report – Finance officer, Sara read the report for Nov/December and reported:

 

Combined totals: Expended: (-$400.00); total income (+$118.00)

 

Current balance of all accounts $57,410.37

Old Business

  1. Update of maps.They are in progress.  Asking for everyone to do a glance at the mock-up that is sent around to look for errors or recommendations of changes today.  Discussed adding “updated date” to track when was last updated on the print copy for quick recognition on how old maps are. Created and added QR codes for us and for the DNR.
  2. Gas Card ReportTo date, we have issued (14) cards total.  If you know of anyone that will benefit from this program in our county- please let Krystal or Chad know along with their address. We received a thank you from Sarah Updegraff-Murry.
  3. Membership We have implemented Zeffy for online payments and the option to auto-renew.  Our current PAID membership numbers from 2025 and 2026 membership:

  1. Spring Clean- Up Add these dates to your calendar:  11 April  /  18 April (snow date)  Dennis will check on the dumpster.  Discussed and approved a pizza party post clean-up.  More details to follow at the March meeting and on social media/email.

 

  1. Harper’s American LegionA follow up to the last meeting discussion on being approached for a celebration ride on 4th July to commemorate the Legion’s  250th year. Krystal plans to communicate further with the Harpers Ferry Legion and bring updates back to the club at the March meeting.

 

 

New Business

  1. Website Membership Login & Password The update is being distributed with paid dues.  Lifetime members will receive a separate email.

 

  1. QR Code– We made an executive decision when creating the QR Codes  for the club and the DNR.  The intent is to use on our website/maps and the possibility of adding to Merchandise and/or the trailer decals.

In researching, the President found that for the QR to stay active and change with updates we needed a “Dynamic” QR Code.  These are different than the free ones advertised.

The cost is $119.88/year for both codes.

A motion was made to pay the fee for both codes and review the analytics in 2027 before renewal by Fawn Brickman:

  1. Thank you from the Waterville Fire Department for their ride. Discussion around the donation of merchandise sales at the table set up on the day of.

 

  1. Dennis Blocker asked about doing a Disabled Veterans Ride on George Beardmore’s property – possibly in late August. The general discussion is that the club is interested.
